Understanding Insulin and Diabetes

To tackle the problem of diabetes, we need to understand it’s not just about high blood sugar. At its core, the issue often begins with our body's production of large amounts of insulin. Now, you might think high insulin levels would cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), but the high insulin triggers lipogenesis-fat around our abdomen!.
